Charlie Brown
Depicted as a "lovable loser," Charlie Brown is characterized as a person who frequently suffers, and as a result is usually nervous and lacks self-confidence. He shows both pessimistic and optimistic attitudes: on some days, he is reluctant to go out because his day might just be spoiled, but on others, he hopes for the best and tries as much as he can to accomplish things.

Charlie Brown’s pet beagle. Snoopy is loyal, innocent, imaginative and good-natured; known for his “happy dance” and his numerous alter-egos. A non-speaking role- physicality and improv a must. Must be able to dance and move freely.

Lucy
Linus’ older sister. Lucy is characterized as a "fussbudget", crabby, bossy and opinionated girl who bullies most other characters in the strip, particularly Linus and Charlie Brown.

Linus
Charlie Brown’s blanket-toting best friend and Lucy’s little brother; Sally’s love interest; Though young and insecure, Linus is very intelligent and very wise; acts as the group’s philosopher and theologian. Linus is sympathetic towards Charlie Brown, and often gives him advice after listening to Charlie Brown's various insecurities.

The youngest of the group, with a very young sounding voice; Charlie Brown’s little sister who has a crush on Linus; is adorable and spunky but often overreacts to situations.

Female Identifying, (Soprano) Glinda is the Good Witch of the North. Benevolent and beloved.

Male Identifying. Dorothy’s pleasant uncle. Guard - (Baritone) Strong comic actor, big presence.
MUNCHKINS: The little people of Munchkinland. Long oppressed, and happy to
be freed, the Munchkins will (mostly) be played by children. Group singing and coordinated
movement required. Dance experience is a plus. There are some featured roles among the
munchkins, such as The Coroner, The Lollipop Guild, and The Lullaby League.
