HISTORY
The Tribble School began in 2004 as a place for students to learn and dive into acting, singing, dancing training and full scale musical theater productions and multi-disciplinary dance training. Some of the most talented and dedicated students in the city grew up in the Tribble School, many of whom are today successful professional actors, singers and dancers on Broadway, in Los Angeles, and everywhere in between. The school has a heart for the difference the arts can make in the lives of students from all walks of life, and in 2009 was recognized with the “Arts and Cultural Leadership in Action" Award from Leadership Houston for its Philanthropic Scholarship Program. In 2015, the Tribble School was thrilled to move its programming and make a new home in Queensbury Theatre, in the heart of West Houston’s Energy Corridor, and the thriving City Centre and Town & Country center. Working and playing in Queensbury’s state of the art facility, the school – it’s programming and it’s amazing student body – continues to grow, working with emerging artists of all ages, and telling meaningful stories on stage every day.
