Announcing Ernest Lewis III – The New Executive Director!

After a broad-reaching nationwide search, Queensbury Theatre is proud to announce the hiring of its new Executive Director, Ernest Lewis III. As a longstanding veteran of the non-profit sector, Ernest brings with him a diverse background in the areas of management, fund development, media, arts administration, and community development. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Lewis has now called Houston, Texas home for over 10 years. During his nearly 17 years of service in the non-profit sector, he has acquired varied experience in developing and shaping signature programming focusing on youth development and art education. Lewis has also historically cultivated, secured and managed more than $20 million in private, federal, and public funds to advance the mission of many noteworthy non-profits in New Orleans and Houston, making him a perfect fit for the ever growing Queensbury Theatre. “We could not be more excited to bring Ernest on-board to lead our team as we continue our mission of providing high-caliber theatrical programming to the Greater Houston Area.
